Boucher
Vintage Jewelry Patents Categories > Boucher

Marcel Boucher was a designer who immigrated from France to the United States. He designed jewelry from around 1937 to 1971. The company was named Marcel Boucher and Cie. Boucher designed for Tiffany's, Mazer and Cartier. Boucher early pieces were marked with MB under the Phrygian Cap symbol.  Pre war designs often had single letters, Pat.Pend, or Des. Pat'd.

The Boucher Marboux mark was recorded in 1955 as the name of a new line.
His wife took command of the company in Toronto, Canada, until D'Orlan bought the company. The D'Orlan company produced designs by Boucher from his original molds. They are known for their quality jewelry using superior stones and materials.
